RS Electrix Ltd is a Harrogate-based electrical and renewable energy contractor serving homeowners and businesses across North Yorkshire. Established in 2017, we specialise in solar PV installations, battery storage systems, electric vehicle charging, electrical installations, inspection and testing, maintenance and fault finding.

As an MCS-certified, NICEIC-approved and OZEV-approved installer, we combine recognised industry standards with careful design and high-quality workmanship. Every renewable energy system is planned around the property, electricity use, roof or site conditions, energy tariff and future requirements. This helps customers choose a practical system rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Our solar and battery service covers grid-connected solar panels, home and commercial battery storage, backup power options, monitoring, solar-compatible EV charging and hot-water energy diversion. We can also install standalone battery systems for customers who want to store cheaper off-peak electricity without solar panels.

Solar, battery and commercial renewable projects begin with our professional £75 Design My System service. This produces a bespoke proposal and quotation, and the £75 fee is deducted from the final installation invoice when the customer proceeds with RS Electrix. EV-only enquiries are not charged this design fee.

Alongside renewable energy work, our experienced electricians undertake domestic and commercial electrical installations, fixed-wire inspection and testing, consumer-unit work, upgrades and maintenance. Installation work includes a two-year workmanship guarantee, supported by the applicable manufacturer warranties and certification.
